Uttarakhand (formerly Uttaranchal) is a state in India, bordered by China to the north and Nepal to the east, as well as the Indian states of Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh. This state has a total of 13 districts, the state is the 18th most extensive (53,484 km2) and the 19th most populous (10.11 million inhabitants).
