West Virginia is a state in the United States of America. It is located in the Appalachian area of the Southern United States and is surrounded by Virginia, Kentucky, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Maryland. It is the 41st largest and the 38th most populated of the 50 states. Charleston, Virginia’s biggest and capital city, with a population of 50,821 in an area of 81km2 with a density of 622 people per km2 and is located in Kanawha County. West Virginia, one of the smallest states in terms of land size, is made up of tiny cities and towns.
