The Congo (DR Congo) is one of Africa’s most populated and poorest countries. Nearly three out of every four people live on less than $1.90 per day, making it one of the world’s most impoverished communities.
Liberia is one of the poorest countries in the world. More than 2.2 million Liberians were unable to fulfill their basic food needs, 1.6 million below the food poverty line, and 670,000 living in severe poverty.
